You Have The Right To Pay Child Support

Yup! I said it! Child support is an unfair fucking scam!
My two girls are now over 18 so I am done with child support except for a little bit in arrears. So, child support basically does not affect me anymore. Child support is not my problem anymore but it’s still a problem for many.
The current custody and support laws are unfair, outdated and severely broken. It needs fixed.
I started paying child support in 2005. I had a job, a painter, the same thing I am doing now, except now I am self-employed and making more money. Back then I worked 40 hours a week making around $11 per hour. I grossed around $440 a week. The best I could do at the time. After taxes then child support I was left with about $100 a week, if I was lucky. I did the best I could. I’m a professional painter but I even went to work in fast food for a stint just to work.
I really couldn’t go out and make much more money because the court would just take it as child support is based on income. The more I would make, the more the court would take. So, with that, not much would not change or improve for me. I couldn’t afford to pay attention.
I could not afford much of anything, not even a place to live. For about seven or eight years, from the time my girls were born, I was bouncing around between family members and friends just to have a place to live.
This happens to a lot of dads. We are leached so hard of our money that we are forced to live in almost poverty. Why?
I researched this a little bit. I could be wrong? But this is what I found. Researching for Michigan, I learned that the Friend of the Court is matched dollar for dollar from the government for the amount of child support collected.
So, if no one is paying child support the court is not making any money. The more child support that is paid, the more money the court makes.
Dads are leached of their money so much to the point that they can’t afford to even live but mom’s (some) are given so much fucking child support that they don’t even have to fucking work. At his point, this isn’t child support, it’s Mommy support!
Child support is getting to be like a form of welfare. Instead of a means of help, it has become a way of life.
I think it’s time for Mommy to go get a fucking job!
What? Mommy can’t work? She has kids to take care of? So fucking what!
Dad has to work when he has the kids! Ya know, Dad needs to be able to pay Mommy’s salary!
Here’s a thought? If your children are such a fucking financial burden and causes such misalignment in your life’s fucking schedule then perhaps you should let those children go with Dad more and help relieve some of that financial burden and adjust that fucking misalignment?
BOOM! DONE! Problem solved! That was easy!
Now, I know that there are some straight up deadbeat, loser dads out there that don’t want anything to do with their kids or don’t want to help with them. At that point, an excessive amount of child support may be warranted and probably deserved? However, when the Dad is loving, willing and able, excessive child support, or any at all, is unwarranted and unfair.
